We will be organizing a group purchase for Orange Shirts for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30. Please watch for the order form if you would like to purchase. Shirts will be ordered at the end of June and handed out in September when students return to school.

January 24th Update
The Dalhousie Parent Society is once again working towards getting our school a new playground. With our current playground at its end of life, we have hit the ground running. Since our children will be the ones using the new structures we want to hear from them! Here is a simple survey that we would like the parents to take a few minutes to sit down with their children to fill out. Please fill out a survey for EACH student you currently have enrolled at the school. Every voice counts and the more feedback we get the easier it will be to work on a design that everyone will love for years to come. Deadline for the survey will be January 31, 2022. So please let us know what your kids think!

The first fundraiser has started: The Dalhousie Elementary School Parent Society is hosting a 50/50 draw in support of the new playground build. Ticket packages are between $10-$100. Please like and share this worthy cause where everyone comes out a winner!
January 17th Update
Pink shirt day is quickly approaching (February 23). We have designed a new Dalhousie specific T-shirt. Any donation from this fundraiser will be donated to a Calgary Anti Bullying Organization on behalf of Dalhousie School Families. This year we will be selling T-shirts and Hoodies. The T-shirts are starting at $21 (100% Polyester) and the Hoodies are starting at $37.50 (100% Cotton). We have set up the sales to go through your Healthy Hunger account so there are no pesky forms to fill out or money/cheques to send to school. Just log onto your Healthy Hunger website to order. If you require any assistance at all, please email dalhousieschoolparentsociety@gmail.com and one of us would love to help you out. The deadline to order is January 24, 2022.

- Indeygo Cookie Dough - Order Deadline November 15. Pick up orders at the school November 25 from 3-5
- Purdy’s Chocolate - Order Deadline November 29. Pick up orders at the school December 14 3-5

September 27 Update:
The Dalhousie Parent Society has a great new way to one stop shop for fundraisers! We will be using the Healthy Hunger platform for other fundraisers besides fun lunch. No more separate form and sending money in. You can order and pay online in one step! To keep up with the fall theme of deliciousness, we have kicked off a Coco Brooks frozen food Fundraiser! Please sign in through your Healthy Hunger account, scroll to the October 21 Coco Brooks event to see all of the frozen goodies that are available! Have you tried their banana bread? It’s a show stopper! Order deadline is October 16 and pickup is October 21.

Burrito Wednesday is the new Taco Tuesday!! Get your orders in for Mucho Burrito Fun Lunch on September 15, order deadline is September 10. Go to http://www.healthyhunger.cato order.
The Dalhousie Parent Society’s Casino will be October 30 & 31. We are still looking for volunteers for this large fundraiser that supports many of the school’s initiatives. Check out this link for more information and to sign up.
Apple Fundraiser
Davison Orchards will once again be providing apples, which are all handpicked into a 15 lb. box. The Order deadline is September 23, 2021 and the Apple Order pick up is October 5, 2021 at the school. Please order through this order form and send the money to school with your child.
Orange T-Shirts in Support of Orange Shirt Day
Please note that there is short turn around time on this order as we have to get it in as soon as possible to try and ensure that the shirts arrive in time for the week of September 27th. The Dalhousie Parent Society has ZERO control over how fast the order is fulfilled. We are simply trying our best to support this very important cause.
